Simple Human makes a lot of great products including this stainless steel grocery bag holder. This is a simple solution to those bags being stuffed and stored all over the place. This is also one of those things I always saw and thought about getting but never have- until now.
My pantry shouldn't be allowed to be called just that...its a very, very small closet in our kitchen! My husband and I always shove the grocery bags in the corner as you can see. 
The grocery bag holder comes with really strong adhesive already placed on the top and bottom of it. All you have to do its peel it off and it mounts right on to your closet- I even installed it myself! Hahaha! It fits right on the inside of the closet door. I bought it at Bed Bath and Beyond.
